LEGO & DUPLO For Kids In Need

Want to help less fortunate kids discover the joy of LEGO? I’m trying to raise $200 to buy LEGO & DUPLO bricks for children at The Family Place, a local family violence shelter here in Dallas, Texas.

The Family Place has been around for over 30 years and gets three of four stars on Charity Navigator. When I contacted them to see if they could use LEGOs, their donation coordinator wrote “I think that would be awesome. We always need toys to give as birthday presents at the Shelter and we rarely have Legos or Duplos, which are such wonderful developmental toys.”

I love LEGO. My kids love LEGO. If you’re reading this I bet you do too. If you’d like to share that feeling with a kid going through a tough time, then consider giving one dollar for this cause.
