watching the great emperors and empresses fall.
Quick is his blade as it cuts through the night,
ending each life without a fight.

Surrounded by death, he sits all alone,
contemplating all the things left unknown.
Why must he go through every day,
with enemies blood as his only pay?

The question is what might it be worth,
to be left alone and wander this earth.
Why do we all continue, what purpose do we serve,
with every dark action, we get what we deserve.
